McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. is awarding a $2,500 DUI Awareness Scholarship to a deserving college or high school student who is pursuing their post-secondary education at an accredited college or university.
To qualify, students must fill out the application on this page and submit a 1,000-word essay discussing why people still engage in drunk driving, despite the risks.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2020 McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. DUI Awareness Scholarship
In order to qualify for the $2,500 scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Earn a 3.0 GPA, confirmed via an unofficial transcript in PDF format submitted with the application
- Currently enrolled or admitted to an accredited university or college
- Submit a 1,000-word essay on the topic listed bellow
- Complete the application form on this page
- Agree to the terms and conditions of the DUI awareness scholarship

Every day, 29 people lose their lives due to an alcohol-impaired driver, accounting for 28% of all traffic-related deaths in the United States, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Despite awareness campaigns and the rise of ride-sharing apps, each year thousands of people die due to impaired driving.
To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a 1,000-word essay on the following topic:
Why do you think many people still engage in drunk driving despite knowing the risks, and what you think you can do to address the issue among your peers?

Applicants for the McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. DUI Awareness Scholarship must be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
All applicants must submit their application using the form on the McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. DUI Awareness Scholarship page, and submit their completed application by the deadline.
Winner Selection for the McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. DUI Awareness Scholarship
Each application will be reviewed by a scholarship committee, which will select a winner based only on information provided via the online scholarship application.
Please note, the scholarship committee cannot be held responsible for technical problems that prevent applicants from submitting their application by the deadline.
Final applications for the McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. scholarship must be received on or before Dec. 15, 2020, to qualify.
The McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. scholarship committee reserves the right to request additional or updated information from applicants if necessary.
The McKenzie Law Firm, P.C. DUI scholarship committee’s decision is final and may not be appealed.
